Still Here, Still Fighting

I want to take a moment to ask for a little patience and understanding from everyone who visits and supports this site. Lately, life has been a bit more challenging behind the scenes. I’ve been dealing with both epileptic and non-epileptic seizures, and at this point, the doctors are still trying to fully understand exactly what’s going on. What they do know is that the seizures are very real, and they’ve been affecting my daily life quite a bit.
For those who may not know, epileptic seizures are caused by abnormal electrical activity in the brain. Non-epileptic seizures can look very similar, but they are not caused by those same electrical disruptions. They can sometimes be connected to things like stress, trauma, or other neurological and psychological factors. Even though they are different medically, both types can be exhausting, disruptive, and difficult to live with.
Right now, I’m focusing on my health the best I can. I’m actively working through two different types of therapy to help manage everything, changes of medicines, and I’m staying consistent with my neurologist appointments and treatment plans. Some days are better than others, but I’m continuing to push forward one step at a time.
Because of this, updates to the site may come more slowly than I’d like. I’m still working on improving things, adding content, and making updates whenever I’m able — just at a pace that works with my health right now.
So if things seem quiet at times, or updates take a little longer, please know I haven’t given up on this space or on the community here. I’m still here, still working, and still hopeful.
Thank you for sticking with me, for your patience, and for your support. It truly means more than you know. Slowly but surely, we’ll keep moving forward together.
